The seats are at 29 inches in the front and 20 in the rear. So the second seat could be used by either a small adult or a child while an adult sits up front and steers. The seats are gel filled so they are actually quite comfortable. They don't hurt like a regular bike seat. Each rider also gets a holder for a water bottle. This bike is made for a nice day of touring around.
It has extra wide tires for good traction, the brakes are on the front handlebars and it has a 21 speed drive train. It's solidly built, nice looking and made to last.

Tandem bikes ROCK!
I bought this tandem bike for my 10 year old son who has autism. We haven't taught him how to ride a two wheeler, because he doesn't understand things like stop signs or how to cross an intersection safely. He had out grown this trailer bike, and I was looking for something he could move up to. I found this tandem bike on your website and noticed that the top tube for the rider in back was unusually low. This low height allows my boy to straddle the bike with his feet on the ground with no issues.
It came with all it's parts, wasn't damaged, and was easy to assemble. It's a long, comfortable, slightly heavy bike that is perfect for what it's designed for: cruising around the neighborhood. We love it!

Great value!
Great bike for the money! Mine arrived in excellent condition. I'm a former bicycle mechanic, so assembling it was no problem. I was impressed with the quality of the pre-assembly -- all the bearings were lubricated and the wheels were reasonably well trued. I swapped the rear seat out for one with a slightly lower profile, and my 6 1/2 year old son can ride on the back -- great fun for both of us!

Just the two of us
This bike is perfect for our needs. We live in an area of many paved riding trails. When we each had our individual bike (which we still have), we rode because we wanted the exercise. I was always way ahead of my wife and then I'd have to stop and wait for her to catch up. Now we ride together and are able to talk to each other. Great bike!!! The envy of the whole neighborhood.
