If you are buying or selling a horse farm, make sure your realtor is an expert.
There are many considerations when purchasing a horse farm.
Most persons immediately recognize the obvious: acreage, size of home, barn size, how many stalls, etc.
But what about the other issues that will affect your long term enjoyment of your horse farm: hay production, building placement/design/location, field grass types, type/design of fence, etc.
Is your grass high enough quality for your horse? Unless you planted/seeded yourself, its probably not.
Is your fence appropriate for horses? Again, if other livestock was there, its probably not.
Is your realtor able to help guide you to appropriate choices in these matters? Unless they are an equestrian property specialist, probably not.
