Kubotan Key Chain- Simple Self Defense

A Kubotan key chain is used to either flail an assailant with your keys or as a weapon on it's own to stab or hit with in a non-lethal manner. The Kubotan Key chain is legal in most of the United States, however you should check to see if carrying a Kubotan is legal in your area. You also may not fly with a kubotan of any type.Kubotan's come in two main types: a blunt end and a spiked end.This is a cheap way to gain an advantage over an attacker.

In the event of an attack. keys flailed toward the eyes can cause pain and certainly shock an assailant, possibly allowing you to escape. If further combat is necessary you can use the stick to make hammer-fist strikes and other blows more powerful if you hold it like an ice pick. Wrapping a fist around the stick can harden a punch to inflict more damage. When used on pressure points the Kubotan can be especially effective. Often just being prepared and fighting back can be enough to make an assailant think twice. Defending yourself is that much easier with one of these cheap, effective non-lethal weapons in your hand. With some hand to hand combat or martial arts experience this simple weapon can become quite powerful.
