Keyword Optimization Tips – How to Reach the Top of Google
Ranked #14,871 in Business & Work, #302,316 overall
Keyword optimization is the simgle most important aspect of reaching the top of the search engine results. It's amazingly simple to do, but so many people miss the most important concepts.
It's So Simple, Yet It Always Overlooked
It's amazing how simple Google keyword optimization is, however many people still don't understand this concept. Learn a few tips on how to get to the top of Google with ease.
There is so much information on the internet about keyword optimization, but I have found very little that is any good. So, I thought I would share what I have discovered.
Before any blogs and web pages are written, always research keywords as your primary starting point. Why write a blog that no one will ever see? What not write a blog that many people will find? Sounds simple enough, but this concept can easily be missed.
I would recommend creating a spreadsheet to keep track of your keywords. There are millions and millions of keywords or search words on the internet, so keep track of your ideas. Currently I've discovered over 100 keywords that I can or have reached the first page on the Google search results that are relevant to what I'm doing. I know this is only the tip of the iceberg, so keeping track of these keywords can make a big difference in your business.
Use Google to search for keywords in your niche. Maybe you offer solutions to heartburn, so go to Google and search heartburn. You will notice that Google has an estimated 6,880,000 search results for the term heartburn. Heartburn is not a good keyword to use because there is too much competition.
Use Google to focus your results. Google already gives suggestions for more focused keywords. For example, Google will suggest other keywords such as heartburn remedies. Heartburn remedies have only 225,000 search results. Now you can rank on the first page of Google for heartburn remedies much more easily.
Another method to discovering niche or targeted keywords is to use modifiers. Examples of keyword modifiers are, how to, fast, cheap, ideas, quick, buy, quickly, guide, and best.
Keyword modifiers can help you discover new keywords that may help you attract a larger audience. For example, search Google for the keyword free heartburn cure. It has 329,000 search results. Again, you can compete with this keyword, but with a whole new audience for a similar keyword.
Now combine heartburn remedies with free heartburn cure and you have a much larger audience. You can write an article on both heartburn remedies and free heartburn cure.
This is just a few simple tips to help anyone rank high on the Google search results with keyword optimization.
