KFC Coleslaw Recipe #1
Finger lickin goodness that YOU can make
Ingredients:
8 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup carrot, shredded
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teas. salt
1/8 teas. pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 tbs. white vinegar
2 1/2 tbs. lemon juice
Method:
1. Combine cabbage and carrots in a large salad bowl.
2. Mix remaining dry ingredients together and combine thoroughly.
3. Pour liquid ingredients over cabbage and carrots and stir.
4. Refrigerate at least two hours before serving (overnight is better).
5. Stir well before serving.

2 heads shredded cabbage
2 carrots, shredded
3/4 cup onion, chopped
1 cup sugar
4 1/2 teaspoons tarragon vinegar
6 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 1/2 cups Miracle Whip
Method:
1. Combine cabbage and carrots in a large salad bowl.
2. Mix oil, onions and sugar, add tarragon vinegar, and fold in Miracle Whip.
3. Pour ingredients over cabbage and carrots and mix.
4. Refrigerate in an air-tight container at least two hours before serving (overnight is better)
5. Stir well before serving.

2/3 cup raisins
3 tbs. sugar
2 tbs. vinegar
1 cup Miracle Whip
Method:
1. Combine cabbage and carrots in a large salad bowl.
2. Mix remaining dry ingredients together and combine thoroughly.
3. Mix together the Miracle Whip, vinegar and sugar in a separate bowl.
3. Pour ingredients over cabbage and carrots and mix well.
4. Refrigerate in an air-tight container at least two hours before serving (overnight is better).
5. Stir well before serving.

1 dash black pepper
1/2 cup half-and-half
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/3 cup oil
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
Method:
1. Combine cabbage and carrots in a large salad bowl.
2. Combine sugar, mayonnaise, vinegar and oil.
3. Add onion powder, dry mustard, celery salt, pepper, lemon juice, half-and-half and salt to wet ingredients. Stir until smooth.
3. Pour ingredients over cabbage and carrots and mix well.
4. Refrigerate at least two hours before serving (overnight is better).
5. Stir well before serving.

- The cabbage and carrots should be cut into little tiny squares . It looked like most if not all just called for shredded but kfc slaw is not shredded . I also think they use dehydrated onions in their recipe .

- I have been trying to make my own version of KFC coleslaw but have not been very successful then along came Squidoo and your finger lickin coleslaw recipes - pure relief I tell you! All I need to do now is grab your recipe wheee!
