Khyam is a leading British tent manufacturer.

One of the most popular of the Khyam tents is the Khyam Freelander (see left). Designed to sleep 4, it also as ample room to stand up and walk around in at 180 cms high. The living area is ample for a small table and chair, dog cage and bags of cooking stuff. With the tent carpet (available as an optional extra) the living area becomes nice and cosy.

One reviewer described it as "It's fantastically easy to put up. It's just as easy to take it down, and this is the ONLY tent that I've been able to get back in the bag properly, without fear of the bag ripping at the zip seam!". With Khyam's Rapidex quick erect system this tent can be erected in a matter of 3 minutes.

As for the construction, the rear bedroom pole is made from shockcorded fiberglass. There is a fully taped breathable polyester inner tent, an inner tent groundsheet, rain cowls, mesh vent panels, robust plastic pegging rings and double-layer reinforced triangular guy points.

Taking the Freelander a stage further, Quick Erect Freelander DLX has enhanced living space and bedroom areas. With a full mesh panel on one side of the living area and a full size window in the other the living area is a comfortable place to relax.
