Kickass shots: Delicious, good-tasting shots

Ranked #2,246 in Food & Cooking, #44,946 overall

Shots! Shots! Shots!

Who doesn't love a good shot? Shots don't have to be horrendous and gag-reflex inducing - there are some delicious, good-tasting shots out there! With a little creativity (and a good cocktail shaker!) it's not difficult to whip up a batch of tasty shots!

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

Pineapple upside-down cakes are delicious, and so is this shot that pays tribute to the infamous dessert.

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake· 1 oz. Vanilla Vodka
· 1 oz. Pineapple Juice
· 1 splash of Grenadine

Pour vanilla vodka and pineapple juice in a shaker full of ice. Shake vigorously to mix. Pour into a shot glass and add a splash of grenadine. Enjoy!

This is a fairly flexible recipe, as other (similar) flavors of vodka may be used to achieve a similar, tasty result. The recipe is also excellent with the substitution of vanilla or pineapple rum.

As an added bonus, this shot recipe translates well into drink form; simply triple (or quadruple, etc..) the recipe and sip as a cocktail.

When I used to go to the bar, I would spend 1/2 of my night at the shooter bar (the other half on the dance floor ;)
