  1. Centipede Relay:

Divide the children into groups of equal numbers and get them to stand in a straight line holding onto the person in front of them to make a human centipede. As you shout go or blow the whistle, the centipedes race across the yard but they are not allowed to let go of one another - only a complete centipede can win the race.

  2. Cracker and Whistle Race:

Have the children pack their mouths with crackers, marshmallows or some other food. They then need to eat as quickly as possible and race to be the first one who is able to whistle.

  3. Toy Walk:

A toy walk is similar to a cake walk but for smaller children. Children each stand on a numbered square and then walk between different numbered squares. When you call a number the child standing on that number will win a toy or goody bag. Be sure to choose toys that are fun and age appropriate.

Free Party Invitations

So you've decided on the party theme, birthday party games, plans and who you are going to invite but now the thing is to get those invitations out. You want your invitations to be as cool as the party you are organizing so what do you do? Well, we're glad you asked...

What we suggest is that you create a cool web page, especially designed for your child and with the party details. This online invitation can include cute pictures, music, audio and video clips and whatever else you choose. Once you have created your invitation page you can then send out emails with a link so that people can come and view more details about the party and respond online. When they respond they will also be able to see who else is coming, who is not coming and who has not yet replied.

Set a trend. Once other parents see what you have done for your child with this they will be sure to want to do it for theirs as well - especially when they see how cool it is to interact with other parents online before the actual party.

After the party go back and put up all those party pictures, write notes about what a success your birthday party games were and how your child loved their party, presents and everything.

The other advantage of doing it this way is that it is free, quick and easy. There is so much to organize that the last thing you need is to get caught for hours writing and addressing invitations plus spend a fortune on the paper, postage stamps, etc.

All you need to do is sign up for a free account at Events Listed Birthday Party Games and start creating your online invitation.
