What makes an artist start a kid mural company?

At Create-A-Mural you can tell that everything artist Camille Apicella has done is out of her love for children.
It was after the birth of her fourth child that Camille was inspired to design wallpaper murals for children. She wanted something special for her child's room and while she had the artistic ability to paint a beautiful mural for her daughter, time was a factor. She opted instead to look for a pretty wallpaper mural and found the market didn't offer any.
The seed was planted when she discovered that "pretty" wallpaper murals for children just didn't exist. Her mind was then overflowing with ideas for children's wallpaper murals. She started brain storming and then put her idea's into tangible form.
"I played, prayed and painted until I came up with what you see at Create-A-Mural," says Camille who started her company in 2004.
Through Create-a-Mural.com Camille hopes to inspire parents to create a magical place for their child to grow in.

thanks for putting my children's murals in your lens. I have a new website htpp://www.wallstory-murals.co.uk that offers children's murals you can paint yourself using a paint by number mural technique. It's really easy for anyone to do even if they don't have any artistic skills. Thanks again for featuring my stuff.

- Hi! I love the ideas! I painted my little boy's room recently--1/2 a sky blue color with bees and frogs and other creepie crawlies "on" window sills, etc, and the other 1/2 a dark blue with glow in the dark stars and moon. THe ceiling has clouds, and the ceiling fan blades are painted as sun rays. It's cute. My favorite here, though, is the spaceship mural--it is AWESOME! If I ever redo his room, that's the one I'd pick. GREAT idea!!
