I just saw a real life demonstration of the Gyro Bowl on The Rachel Ray Show and I was impressed with the results. The Mom who tested the bowl with her child honestly stated that the bowl worked about 80% of the time to keep her toddler's snacks from falling out.
As the grandmother of an active two-year-old, 80% is good enough for me!
I'm getting one to keep her favorite snack, Goldfish brand crackers, from getting all over the house.

Why I like the Gyro Bowl
Disclosure: I haven't received my Gyro Bowl yet but this is why I want one.The Gyro Bowl is a bowl that sits in the middle of a round easy-for-toddler's-to-hold handle and it gyrates 360 degrees to stay upright no matter how much your child moves around.
The mom who demonstrated the Gyro Bowl for the Rachel Ray show said her son was really tossing it around and that it kept the snacks in place about 80% of the time. To me, that's a lot better than having a spill 100% of the time as my little cutie runs off with her bowl of goodies.
Before I ordered mine, I checked online to see if I could find it cheaper than the price stated on the show and sure enough Amazon.com had it for a reduced price. At Amazon, I'm only getting one bowl instead of two, but since I only have one toddler to serve snacks to, that's all I need.

The Gyro Bowl is NOT microwave safe but then who would want to heat up a snack that would be appropriate for putting inside the Gyro Bowl anyway?
