This website had the best ideas by far, so I'd like to thank you for that. I decided to make the trumpet, and I'll notify you how it goes (about to make it). Graceyy x

Great ideas- though, a drum and a trumpet could make some ear piercing noises, so not something to do in an enclosed space! The trumpet also sounds funny if the hose is unrolled and spun whilst it's being played!

Nice lens! I was helping pre school age kids how to make a craft which was a homemade trumpet. All you need is a plastic 2 liter soda bottle, a toilet paper tube, a rubber band, waxed paper, masking tape, and decorations. What you do is stretch the waxed paper over the mouth of the soda bottle, band it with the rubber band, put the paper towel tube on, tape it with masking tape, and decorate it. It works exactly like a kazoo.
