A few facts about the inspiration for the Storm Trooper character:
The Stormtrooper - Stormtroopers are the Emperor's personal army - the foot soldiers who organize in mass, from squads to legions, in preparation for battle. They are specially trained and their armor is modified for special operations and environments. This much feared army fighting for the Dark Side is a constant reminder of just how powerful the Emperor is. Stormtroopers are given a variety of personal names by the Rebel Alliance Special Force such as Whitehats and Plastic Soldiers, names befitting their characters due to their appearance. As a Stormtrooper, your child will have a blast donning the costume and heading out into the galaxy (in other words your neighborhood or the nearest Halloween party).
The inspiration for the character Darth Vader
Darth Vader - Darth Vader aka Anakin Skywalker, is the evil antagonist in the Star Wars films - the Emperor's top aide, second-in-command and executioner of plans to defeat the Rebel Alliance. His joining forces with the Dark Side, his kinship to protagonist Luke Skywalker and how he came into the sinister costume are all legendary in the movie world. In addition, Darth Vader's eerie deep breathing, amplified by the ventilator in which he is dependent on, is now part of the American lexicon.
