Make Brushing Fun (and Clean)!

Everybody needs to brush their teeth. Even babies should have their gums brushed. If you have kids, you probably have to remind them to brush their teeth, and make sure that they put their toothbrush away when they are done with it. Getting a kid's toothbrush holder will give your child a good spot to put their toothbrush when they're done. You won't have to worry about them putting the toothbrush on the sink and knocking it onto the floor, or worse yet, putting it on the toilet when they're done (eeew).

I've put together some of the best kids' toothbrush holders out there and categorized them by themes. Hope you find one you like!

This toothbrush holder might not add much to your bathroom's decorating scheme, but it is very convenient. A special 3-M strip will hold your toothbrushes permanently along the wall, the back of a cabinet door, or elsewhere. You can even put one low along the wall for toddlers to use!

This toothbrush holder will hold multiple toothbrushes, and is great for bathrooms that are used by both kids and adults.

Kids and Toothbrushing

Toothbrush photo by jconejo. It's important to teach your kids to brush their teeth at an early age. Many children end up with cavities in their baby teeth. Although this may not seem like such a big deal because the baby teeth will go away anyway, the loss of a baby tooth could cause mouth problems for the rest of their lives.

  • Teach children to brush their teeth at least twice a day, and after sweet snacks if they can.
  • Take your kids to the dentist by the time they are three.
  • Teach kids to brush all their teeth, not just the front ones.
  • Teach kids to floss as soon as they are coordinated enough.
  • Teach kids to watch what they eat. Sugary foods like soda and juice can lead to tooth decay.
