Hello, my name is Bill Curran and I am the owner of William J. Curran and Son Opticians. Ten years ago we designed the first extremely light weight and flexible rimless frame for kids. We recently redesigned this frame to meet the needs of a child with Down Syndrome.
Most parents are unhappy when they take their child to other Opticians because the child is getting a frame that is not customized to their facial needs. We understand children with Down Syndrome have a chronic problem with their frame sitting too low and their eyelashes and cheeks touching the lenses, which is why a lot of frames do not work. This frame not only fits perfectly but also looks terrific which makes for a happy child and thrilled parents.

William J. Curran and Son Opticians presently supply all the eyewear to the young men at the Don Guanella School (Cardinal Krol Center)

Our website displays our latest styles, directions, and coupons.

I've been wearing glasses since 4th grade. Can't really remember being teased about them.

I once took my 4 year old daughter back to the optician as she was complaining she couldn't see properly with her glasses. The receptionist took one look at the glasses and asked when I last cleaned them LOL!!! Blessed by a Squid Angel ;)
