What's Cute And Short?

The What's Cute And Short? project is a modest attempt to spread perfectly formed and infectious smiles.

The main way that we do this is via our website www.WhatsCuteAndShort.Com which is a video archive of cute and short jokes told by cute and short kids.

So I've set up this squidoo page to spread some smiles and collect some jokes.

The What's Cute And Short Story!!

Once upon a time in a far off land called Stressville a large and intoxicating borough in London, England I was on a busy, "packed like a sardine" bus commute home.

Like everyone on the bus I was feeling sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. As the bus started to empty and two stops before mine a cute and short kid hopped on the bus with her Dad and sat right behind me.

As she took her seat she was telling her Dad a joke. I was in such a foul mood prior that the joke didn't register until I got home.

Here's the Joke:

"There are two cows standing in a field and one of the cows goes, "Moooooooo" and the other says "Hey I was just about to say that!""

It wasn't just a great joke but the way she told it which made me start smiling inanely.

Grabbing a pen I started brainstorming:

1. Imagine if you could pay a joke forward and email a video of a cute kid telling a joke to your friends and family. You could start a worldwide chain reaction of smiles. Pretty cool, pretty cool!!!

2. Imagine if you had a website where these jokes could be archived for kids from 5 years old to 105 years old to come and find.

3. Imagine having humorous t-shirts linked to the website which make people smile and drive traffic to the site.

4. Imagine on the site you generate money via ads and combine the money raised by the t-shirt sales and give the all the cash after costs to children's charities spreading more smiles.

5. Imagine kids linked to the charities performing the jokes and gaining a huge boost in confidence and becoming overnight sensations.

6. A catchy name could be What's Cute And Short?

7. Imagine a series of bumper kids jokes books called What's Cute And Short? 1, 2, 3!

8. Imagine children's clothing and toy stores called What's Cute And Short?

9. Imagine after a few years the doors open to the What's Cute And Short Foundation. A Norman Cousins, Patch Adams inspired worldwide charity that focuses on laughter therapy for children.

I'm about a million steps away from the What's Cute And Short Foundation but I've taken the first 4 steps. I've videoed some kids telling jokes, set up a blog called www.WhatsCuteAndShort.Com, designed a couple of t-shirts and set up an ebay store. Just 999,996 more steps to go.

Wish me luck.
