These days, trying to find a way to download computer games that are friendly, fun, and best of all, something that the whole family will love can be a daunting task. Trying to find several of them is just down right time consuming and costly!
I have spent plenty of time looking to find an alternative to all the violent games that are so easily found these days. I would rather not have my younger children playing online, where they have a habit of clicking on random links that look neat, which can lead them to end up in some nasty places!
Most of all, I do not want to pay a lot of money to download computer games! Have you seen the economy today? I want to provide fun and entertainment for my family, but I want it at a good price. I want to download computer games that can be replayed and are available anytime, which makes them cost effective, but I still want them at a really good price!

Having multiple children in the house can lead to the strangest of difficulties. Not the least of which is when the younger children want to be able to play the same computer games that their older siblings are playing.
Having three children who range in age from 18 years old to 8 years old, I encounter this all the time. Since all of my children have an affinity for the computer, computer games that they can each play, and multi-player games, are coveted in our house.

- Thank you for the great commentary including but not limited to, "great for a lazy afternoon." Just that gives soft time parameters and a feeling that we, as a family of five, can explore and accomplish quite a bit of the game. (As in some games you play for hours and you are still at square one--little ones find that very frustrating while the older ones are bored and being theatrical about it.) Again, thank you for your time--I know it's precious.

- Thanks for the welcome to the Family Time group! In our house good computer games are really important... we love playing them together, and competing against each other. Since we find so few games to meet our family needs, and I have been looking for 8 years, I thought I would fill the gap and make it easier for parents and other care givers to have fun and appropriate games on hand!
