Princess Party - Decorations

Decorate your front door to look like the entrance of a castle. Place big ribbon bows on the birthday girl's chair to make it the princess throne. Put smaller ribbon bows on the other chairs for the other girls because they are princesses too. Be sure to give all of the princesses tiaras to wear, but of course, just like the throne, the birthday girl's has to be bigger than the rest. Have pastel and glittery ribbons, balloons, and streamers all around to give a "rich" feel. Of course the table cloths have to be pink and be sure to have plenty of pink balloons for the guest princesses to take home.

Princess Party - Menu

You can still serve simple, inexpensive foods and drinks, just spruce them up. Cut peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or ham and cheese sandwiches into star shapes, diamond shapes, and heart shapes. Serve pink lemonade in clear, plastic goblets for the drinks. Add some sparkling cider to give it some zing.

Parties
Party planning doesn't have to be hectic. We've got some strategic tips to share with you that should alleviate that stress headache and make it fun for both you and your guests.

Princess Party - Invitations

What royal party would be complete without a royal invitation? An electronic invitation coming in an email with a clickable link to a web page about the party is pretty royal. We hear the trumpets now. Create your princess party web page by using simple online multi media tools. Decorate the page to your princess party theme with tiaras, ribbons, and bows. Put a picture of your little princess with a pink border around it. How about adding a video of your child swishing her princess gown around and talking to a mirror and asking, "Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?" Then she puts on her tiara, turns to the camera, and says, "Me." Be sure to post the date, time and location of the party and spruce it up. For example, "You are respectfully invited to a Princess Party of royal caliber. Be sure to wear your finest Princess gown."

There will be a guest list displayed that will let everyone know who has confirmed, declined, or is unsure of attendance. You can add pictures of them beside their names if you'd like and everyone can communicate and network with each other. After the party you can post pictures of the party on the page to share with everyone. It'd be great if you had some video of the actual party and the girls prancing around in their gowns and tiaras. You can use the page as long as you'd like and change elements out as many times as you want. Let your little princess have some input and help with building the page. She'll think it's royal. It's also free. Create an awesome, personal, interactive invitation online for free instead at EventsListed.com.
