One of my favorite kid moments was about 11pm when I thought my son had been sleeping for hours, he came to me all in a dither, Mommy, we have to go to the library right now. I don't have anything more to read. I knew then that I had done a good job teaching the pleasure of reading.

Your lens brings back all those wonderful memories of when my children were little.

Alrighty - I have a new one, and it's classic. We're having cold weather here - so I asked my son to wear a long sleeve shirt (he had put on a t-shirt). He said, "Mom, I can just make my arms really short!" I looked at him - he had his arms tucked into his shirt and his hands flopping out of the sleeves. (lol) Love it. =)

Love the ticket story! The other night when I was tucking my son in his twin bed, he complained that his bed is a commercial feed lot, and my king-size is free-range!

Hi Tonyab: Fun Kids R Kool lens. Happy kids are funny kids :) My nephew is afraid of the Christmas tree. He crouches and makes a big wide circle around it as he tells us he's not afraid of it. ~Music Resource~

Fire & Hoobas. These two words have special meaning in our home...we're not entirely sure what my 3 yr old means by hoobas but it appears to have become a term born out of a combination of the PBS kids show Boobah and the fact that mommy wears a bra. Fire is when daddy lights a match because someone has passed bad gas. Thus mommy wears hoobas and boys wear fire...if you ask my 3 yr old, that is! Be sure to check out my lens for $ saving ideas.

Little kids are not afraid to share their honest opinions! I got my hair cut a couple of weeks ago, after months of neglect. I loved my new 'do, but my six-year old said, "It looks... weird, Mom!" Oh well!

    Hi Tonyab,
Love this lens! Both of my boys are funny. But my 21month old is amazingly verbal at so young. Imitating his older three year old brother one day in the car, he says "mommy, bad guys are coming!"

OK, here's another one from my little one. Sometimes when I talk to him on the phone, he says, "Hey mama look at this!" (Funny noises in the background... Some giggles... Sounds like he's jumping up and down.) This is a real laugher. :D

My daughter is a bit over two years old, and will say a few words. But what she gets across non-verbally is just amazing. I have a feeling she'll be very expressive when she starts talking!

My 7 year old son was playing with his four year old sister in her room but it was her bed time so he had to leave her room. He had been sitting in the same position for a long time and was have difficulty getting up. So moaning and growning he exclaims "I feel like I'm 15."
    BTW 5 stars!

    Hi Tonyab,

My wife and I have a daughter (9 months) and I can't wait for her to start talking. It's amazing how even before they can speak they can communicate...what a blessing :)

    Hi Tonyab,
Reminds me of the time I was at a christmas party. A couple had their boy with them. I just happened to say to the boy, "So how old are you then?", to which he replied "Six", I then said "And when will you be seven?" and he said, "When I've finished being six!" :-) Bless!
