What's the big deal with John Deere?
Everywhere you look, in cities, suburbs, small towns, you see John Deere logos? Whats the big deal?
Well, for a start, as anyone who grew up on farm knows, John Deere tractors are the machines of choice of farmers worldwide, and farmers are in turn the backbone of our economic and social development. If you go back far enough, you'll find a grandfather or greatgrandfather who was in farmer in most family trees.
The large John Deere tractor symbolize power, progress, and change. Under the willful tillage of the large machines, fields change from raw dirt to green crops, to the browns and orange of harvest.
As every farmer knows, all John Deeres are GREEN, and green dominates the American countryside.
Why isJohn Deere gear so popular in suburbs and cities? ...perhaps it is 'country chic', perhaps an admiration of the strength of one of america's greatest industrial machines, perhaps it is just rebellation and has no other reason, but in any case, John Deere Rules
