The Doodlebops is a Canadian musical pop band for pre-school children. Their debut CD ("Get On The Bus" Universal Music Canada - "Rock & Bop with The Doodlebops", Disney Records USA), was released in 2004 and continues to top the children's charts in North America. Beginning its TV broadcasting run in 2004, the series, produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment airs on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in Canada in the CBC Kids morning block, on the Disney Channel in the USA as part of the Playhouse Disney morning programming schedule and on Playhouse Disney (UK) in the UK. The Doodlebops launched an 80 city tour of the United States at Madison Square Garden on September 30, 2006, with dates set through April 2007. The Doodlebops stars are Lisa J. Lennox as Deedee Doodle, Chad McNamara as Rooney Doodle, and Jonathan Wexler as Moe Doodle.

It airs on Nick Jr, YTV, CBeebies and Sjónvarpið. It was created by Magnús Scheving, a gymnastics champion and CEO of LazyTown Entertainment, who also stars in the show. Repeats of Nick Jr. shows aired on CBS from September 18, 2004 to September 9, 2006. The show has been highly successful, airing in over 100 countries, and more than a dozen languages.

The Care Bears are a set of characters created by American Greetings in 1981 for use on greeting cards. The original artwork for the cards was painted by artist Elena Kucharik. In 1983, Kenner turned the Care Bears into plush teddy bears.

Thomas and Friends (formerly Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends) is a British children's television series, first broadcast on Anglia Television in 1984.

It is based on The Railway Series of books created by the Reverend Wilbert V. Awdry. These deal with the adventures of a group of subanthropomorphised trains and road vehicles who live on the fictional Island of Sodor. The books were based on stories Awdry told to entertain his son Christopher during his recovery from measles. Many of the stories are based on events from Awdry's personal experience.
