A plea to Sri Lankan Tamils

The time has come for all the Sri Lankans to unite under one flag, and call ourselves SriLankans and nothing else. For the last 25 years we have lost enough blood, enough lives and enough is enough. It would be very stupid to claim the capture of Kilinochchi as a victory instead it's the light at the end of the tunnel, it's the hope for people and it's full stop for hatred.

I've seen in the recent past, prominent international figures, such as Mr.Bruce Fein a reputed attorney from USA trying to portrait a picture of LTTE being a representation of Tamils in Sri Lanka. And we've seen the heroes day celebration in London on the 27.11.2008 attended by many thousands, perhaps it was because the organizers were careful not to mention the name of LTTE. To my surprise few English MP's speaking on the day were trying to portrait a fake identity for the innocent Tamil civilians back in Sri Lanka.

Anybody who has a slight bit of common sense should know IF LTTE's main intention is to protect Tamils they would never use human shields and trap thousands of civilians in the region. Only a heartless, butchery, psychopathic terrorist organization would attempt such cowardly tactics. If the respected kollywood movie stars did care about the people they could have easily put pressure on LTTE to release any civilians held forcefully, instead of just fast for a day and forget about it.

The few hundreds who have made the journey to the safe regions revealed that there were thousands waiting to escape LTTE. Who is fighting for who? LTTE has proven again and again they were just a group fighting for nothing but for the thirst of blood.

Now the time has come for my beloved Tamil brotheren to understand their duty as Sri Lankan citizens, not be mislead with cheap propaganda, and to stand against the terrorists with hand to hand.

We're not Tigers, Lions or any animal. We are human beings just happened to be born in Sri Lanka which makes all of us Sri Lankans!
