'Killer Niche Marketing' - A New View on SEO

Killer Niche Marketing - review by Jonathan Paston

Traffic, traffic, traffic, that's all I hear about these days. It seems like everyone is obsessed with traffic and every other ebook I am mailed about promises to build my list faster than a flight with Superman.

Same old tricks

Well most of them just propound the same old tricks you can find in the free giveaways or blogs that you can find on the 'net if you look hard enough. But once in a while a book comes along that proposes a different way of doing things.

Day Job Killer was one of them. Auction Traffic Explosion another. And here's a third, Killer Niche Marketing. Each of them concentrates on a different path to building a list and, together, they contain some really great ideas that you can put into practice immediately.

But I'm getting ahead of myself.

What can Killer Niche Marketing offer that the other books don't?

Search Engine Friendly

Well, for many years those of us looking for targeted visitors to our sites have been versed in the litany of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation). After all our 'free' visitors come from the Search Engines, so we have to do everything we can to attract those Search Engine Spiders.

Do it successfully and your site climbs high in the page ranking when someone searches on your keyword. So we write our pages using the optimum keyword density. We choose domains with our keywords in them. We link lots and lots of pages to show we have good content. We create backlinks from our other sites. We submit articles to hundreds of directories with links in our signature. And so on...

And this works, yes? It is the tried and tested way to get high page rankings, yes?

Wrong! It may have been the established way of doing things a couple of years ago, heck maybe even last year. But it seems as though the spiders have become intelligent. It's almost as though they are looking over your shoulder at how you design your site to be 'SE friendly'.

Google Paranoia

One man who is clearly paranoid about Search Engines 'looking' at his methods of SEO is Pawel Reska. In fact he's so paranoid about it that he's gone to the lengths of split testing sites just to find exactly what does give him a high page rank. And he explains it all in Killer Niche Marketing.

What makes this book unique is that it debunks the established SEO theories in favour of ones that really work. Pawel gives a step-by-step method that teaches you the exact process of building and promoting sites that will automatically get you high in the Search Engine listings.

The best bit is that it actually involves far less work than the old methods. It's ingenious. It's cunning. I counted more than twenty ways of optimising my sites that I hadn't considered before.

Feed the Spiders

Did I mention the script included with this book. I didn't? Sorry about that. You see as well as getting the book (at a ridiculously low price by the way if you act quickly) you get to download a free script that Pawel uses to 'feed' his sites to the spiders.

It's like a fly buzzing in the web. The spiders just can't ignore these feeds and it is one of the more powerful techniques that Pawel gives you in Killer Niche Marketing.

The downsides? Well you'll need a website, of course, to put this all into practice. And ideally you should link to your blog in the way that Pawel shows you. You should be blogging anyway, so that's no hardship. (If you haven't set up a blog yet then e-mail me as soon as you've bought Killer Niche Marketing and I'll send you a Bonus Book on Blogging that will get you going in no time).

Intrigued? I must admit I was. And I'm reading Killer Niche Marketing for the third time, already, and absorbing every word. To see more just click here.
