Reaching for Lucidity 2.0 Indie Music and Variety Podcast

One of the Pioneering Web Radio Podcasts, now From Mevio

Reaching for Lucidity 2.0 is the flagship show from RfL Productions and is a pioneering show in the podcast world.

RfL started as a spin off idea from the Reaching for Lucidity blog in late 2004, by early 2005 the podcast was officially started and RfL became a web media production company.

The show is a five day a week indie music based variety show featuring a different genre each day. Between the music segments, the hosts Eban and SJ talk about world events, celebrity gossip, and the indie and mainstream music biz, all filtered through a very warped, often comical lens.

The show schedule is as follows:
Monday-Rock Mix or the occasional blues mix
Tuesday-Indie and Alternative Mix
Wednesday-Jazz, Acoustic, Singer Songwriter or other smooth tunes
Thursday-Rock Mix
Friday-The Juggernaut-METAL

The show was first produced in Littlehampton England, but has since moved to Burlingame, CA and now is produced from Raleigh, NC.

After a year of production, Reaching for Lucidity became one of the shows in the Podshow--now Mevio--stable of podcasts.

If you are looking for entertaining internet radio podcast shows, you can't go wrong with Reaching for Lucidity 2.0. It has stood the test of time and has only become better.

RfL Productions also produces The RfL turns Classic, Behind the Curtain, and Animated Adventures. Check out the Animated Adventures below.

Reaching for Lucidity Animated Adventures

3D Machinima Animation Podcast from RfL Productions and Mevio

Reaching for Lucidity doesn't just offer internet radio programing, but also video and animation.

The RfL Animated Adventures stared year end 2007 and has now blossomed into a full on idie hit.

The show follows the fantasy world of Reaching for Lucidity Productions located in the dimension shift known as Crawford Valley. The adventures focus around the two RfL mainstays, Eban Crawford and Senator Jaiz.

You never know what will happen with these two. So far they have crossed paths with Col. Klink from Hogan's Heroes, Zombies, Tom Cruise, John Travolta and Wesley Clarke. They have also tackled the intense subjects such as Sandpaper for hemorrhoids, Femonist Lesbians, and Daydreams.

Get this into your playlist for some seriously deranged fun.

The schedule at this time is about one episode per month.

Atomic Suburbia

Opinion and Entertainment from the Great White North of Alberta

If you like an entertaining host, great commentary, love of animals, and an out in the open fear of robots, then Atomic Suburbia from Daryl Cognito is your type of show.

From the site itself:

"Ironic hipster* , Daryl Cognito, brings you innovative political opinion, provocative social commentary and some of the hippest music you've ever heard. All with a refreshingly Canadian taste. Atomic Suburbia comes to you from the basement of the internet, in the coolest rumpus room this side of 1974. Pull up a bean bag and have seat. Atomic Suburbia is a Calgary Podcast!"

I can't add much, except get to listening, like now! At least before the robots catch up with Cognito.
