Killing roaches without poison.

They say cockroaches can take 10 times more the amount of nuclear radiation than a regular person. They are one of the most resilient pests. How many times have you chased after them with a shoe just to miss. Do you remember what you said when you missed...? Well, is it the same as what you said when you hit them dead center. Except now you have to clean a mess of guts, legs and antennas.
Sprays and powders as a terminal solution are ideal when you have a massive infestation but when you see the occasional roach alone on a trip to your kitchen... what can you do?
Trap them, and trap them for good.
Here's the idea and design:
You will need an old plastic container preferably square with some angles on the walls.
Then cover of the container, a sharp knife and some Vaseline. That's it!
#1 cut off the bottom of the container
#2 put Vaseline on the inside walls
#3 close the lid and flip over the box. Now the lid is the bottom.
#4 (optional) put some bait in the center to attract the roaches, peanut butter, banana or beef Stroganoff.
Now what happens is that the roach will climb into the box looking for food.
They will walk around the edge of the box and finally dive inside to explore some more.
Once they are inside they can not get out since the walls of the container have Vaseline.
Now it is up to you to do what you want with the roach. You can set it free, kill it or give it a lecture about politics, social security insecurity or cast it for the next season of Fear Factor.
Roaches have a life span of about 3 months.
