Kim Hyun Joong (born June 6, 1986) is a South Korean singer turned actor. He first captivated us with his boy next door smile and captivating charm in numerous Korean television dramas.
But, did you know that he was also a singer and leader of the boyband SS501 debuted in 2005.
His first television debuted started in the famous reality show Lettuce Couple in 2008. His breakthrough performance in television when he starred as Yoon Ji Hoo in the hit drama series Boys Over Flowers in 2009.
He recently played Baek Seung Jo in South Korean romantic comedy series Playful Kiss in 2010.

- I've just recently become aware of the existence of such a spectacular guy and I have to say that I am completely ecstatic! I have purchased his two most recent CD's and although I don't speak Korean yet, I love them. I've also watched the two K-Dramas he's been on in only two weeks and wish there were more of them to devour. My sleepless nights and sleepy days are totally worth it if every time I close my eyes I see his angelic face and that heart-melting smile of his. He is not so much the personification of "perfection" but his essence is most truly the epitome of "the-guy-of-my-dreams." His ability to transform from a sweet and innocent looking boy to a bad-ass, kick-ass, sex-god is impressive and mind boggling. It's incomprehensible how one man can single-handedly arouse such an immense array of hidden passions in an individual (that individual being me of course :-). I'm truly awestruck by this adorable person. I find myself daydreaming about him 24/7 and that has not happened since I first laid eyes on...on...wait...that has actually never happened to me before! So, congratulations to Kim Hyun Joong! The man who made my heart defrost and flutter like a high schooler's and filled my stomach with a million butterflies...not to mention that he's also given me dark circles under my eyes and a few small wrinkles due to the sleep deprivation because of his late-night visits in my dreams. I can't believe I just wrote what looks like a love letter! (another first for me). lol! Good luck in all your endeavors, my dear Kim Hyun Joong. May God bless you and keep you safe always. xoxo. K.
