My one-stop resume for all my activities

When you wear so many hats, sometimes it's nice to only have to carry one card.  Perhaps we met at a meeting, or on a plane, or...anywhere else.  Instead of trying to find the card that best fits my purpose, feel free to browse my list of activities to get the information you're looking for.

Kimberly: Community Organizer on Squidoo

My main job right now is as Squidoo's Community Organizer. It's much like a marketing manager, only switched around to fit new business theories and the new Web 2.0 model. Instead of buying advertisements and hoping people come to check us out, I go out and find groups of people who would benefit from using Squidoo, and guide them through the process of getting addicted, er, using Squidoo. (The addiction is just a side effect!)

To learn more about how I can help you, your group, or your charity, visit the Squidoo Community Organizer lens.

Kimberly: Medical Writer

Just before I started working as Squidoo's Community Organizer, I switched from general freelance writing to freelance medical writing. I love making medical issues easy for the general public to understand.
Helium.com
Many of the first articles I wrote were for contests on Helium. I was able to write about cholesterol, statin drugs, and weight management - a few of my favorite medical issues to study.

Kimberly: Emergency Services Guru

I'm involved in several aspects of emergency services and pre-planning in Taylor and Marathon counties. Below are my mini-resumes for each branch.
  • Medford Area Fire Department
I'm a three year veteran of the department with specialized training in firefighting, ice and cold water rescue, wildland rescue, incident management, and safety. I also coordinate the community and youth education programs, safety fair events, tours, and grantwriting.
  • Taylor County HazMat
I'm a CAMEO specialist with the Taylor County HazMat team. CAMEO stands for Computer Aided Management of Emergency Operations. I do preplanning for events and run scenarios for drills. Here I can see the expected effects of HazMat incidents and help responders appropriately perform rescue, first aid, and clean up operations.
  • Marathon County Special Rescue Teams
In addition to CAMEO, I have training in trench rescue, ropes rescue, and heavy collapse rescue which I use through MC Rescue and Task Force 4, a regional rescue squad.
  • Taylor County Ambulance
I'm an EMT in training for the Medford satellite of the Taylor County Ambulance service, where I am on call specific nights and weekends for EMT-basic level medical services.
  • DNR Wildland Firefighting
I work with the Department of Natural Resources in the spring to prevent and extinguish grass and forest fires caused by weather, heat, and carelessness.

Kimberly: CafePress Shopkeeper

I design images for CafePress shops and often do custom work. The following are my most popular shops that I'm currently promoting:
911 Power
911 Power is a growing resource for apparel and merchandise that relates to emergency services, such as the fire department, EMS, HazMat, police, and other heroes. Check out our "Hometown Heroes" line!
Breast Cancer 101
Includes the most popular "I wear pink for" and "I wear pink in memory of" shirts.
Brain Cancer 101
Includes the popular "I wear grey for" shirts with "I wear grey in memory of" shirts coming soon!
Whoa, Baby!
Fun shirts for baby, toddlers, and mommy-to-be. Includes great gift ideas for/from relatives, such as our "That's it! I'm going to nana's!" design.

Where did I meet you?

On a plane? On a train? On the subway? Show me my business cards are working, and leave your message here!

Cool, I did not even know you can do that...I'll try it myself, but how do you give away your business card like that?
