Who is Kimberly Guilfoyle

Kimberly Ann Guilfoyle was born March 9, 1969 to a Puerto Rican mother and an Irish-American father in San Francisco. Kimberly and her brother were raised by a single father after she turned 10 when her mother died of leukemia.

Guilfoyle graduated from the University of California, Davis and the University Of San Francisco School Of Law. She worked her entire way through school, including a brief stint as a lingerie model.

She later went on to become an assistant district attorney in San Francisco where she received national attention in 2001 for successfully prosecuting two defendants whose two dogs had mauled a woman to death. Later that same year, she married a local city supervisor from a prominent family named Gavin Newsom. He was later elected mayor in 2003. They divorced in March of 2006.

In January 2004, Kimberly became a co-host on the Court TV program "Both Sides". She also served as legal analyst on ABC's "Good Morning America" and CNN's "Larry King Live" and "Anderson Cooper 360".

Kimberly joined FOX News Channel in January of 2006 as a host on a one hour long crime based program called "The Line Up". It airs Saturdays and Sundays from 9-10 PM EST. The show covers major breaking news and focuses on legal affairs and issues of the day. It is the highest rated cable show of its time slot. Kimberly also serves as a legal analyst for FOX News. She is married to Eric Villency, president and CEO of Maurice Villency, Inc., and lives in New York City.
