If you have a smart phone you may not need the full features of a color display Kindle Fire. If you already own a device that can download and run Android applications it's similar (although with a much smaller screen) to Kindle Fire. On the other hand (no pun intended), you might want to free up your phone and enjoy watching movies or running games or Facebook on a larger screen - so go for the fun and affordable Kindle Fire tablet.
