Buy with absolute confidence: this is the best Kindle Fire cover.

* Good looking/feeling black leather, smooth pebble texture. Looks made for the Fire.
* Clean look, very low profile -- it's about 3-4 cm thick.
* Folds all the way back for easy holding/reading.
* Stands very neatly and smartly, offering multiple angle options.
* Exposes charging port and headphone port and power button, so you can leave the cover on.
* Easy to put on, stays snug and protective, easy to remove if wanted (but this is the one cover that I am comfortable with leaving on, as it does not add notably to bulk or weight like other covers do).
* Thin while still being durable and protective.
* Does not fully cover around the sides which is good because this significantly reduces bulk and weight; it does take care to solidly protect every corner, and the sides, so chances of harming it in a drop or in your bag are significantly reduced.
* Priced rather unreasonably low, considering its quality, functionality, and how much simply better it is compared to all number of other covers that are priced much higher and are all thicker, heavier, bulkier, and do not offer the same functionality as this one does.
* Best customer service. It happened that I had cause to contact the seller, and they were extremely responsive, courteous, responsible. They clearly stand behind their product and want their customers to be happy, and make sure to deliver.

I tried two other covers while waiting for this one to be available; this one was well worth the wait.

When it comes to cases for my electronics, I'm somewhat picky. I purchased the Snugg and the Marware casesKindle Fire Leather Cover by Marware, Black for my new Kindle Fire. The Marware case for $45 is Okay - My only concern is that I'm not sure how well the plastic clips will keep the Kindle secure. Comparing the two, the Snugg has my vote. The Snugg case seems to fit perfectly, and the quality of the case seems to be top notch. Hidden magnetic closures keeps the top cover secure when not in use. There's also a velcro strip that secures the opening flap where the Kindle slides in to, securing the flap to the bottom of the case. This makes for a very Snugg fit and prevents any accidental slippage of the device. An elastic band on the inside of the cover to allows you to grip the Kindle while in use, a nice feature. The padding and sturdiness of the cover seems to be sufficient. The prop-up feature seems to work great too.

I keeping both cases 'cause I know the pooch or the kitty will like to sample the leather(?)at some point. I'm ordering a Snugg for my ipad.
