Kindle Covers

There are basically two types of covers for the Kindle. There are book like covers and there are sleeves. It is a matter of personal preference which one you choose. Let's take a look at each type.

The Amazon Kindle can hold thousands of books but when you carry it around, it doesn't quite feel like a book. The easiest way to protect it is to mimic a book. The Kindle fits into the cover with straps or locks in one the side, like a binder. The front cover opens and closes like the cover of a book.

It may have a strap or a device to keep the cover closed when not in use.

Most are made of soft leather. Some have pockets on the inside cover and the Moleskin cover even has a replaceable notepad on the inside cover to write notes.

Covers come in a variety of colors as you can see. You can find one that fits your personal taste.

Sleeves are another way to carry and protect your Kindle. Some readers want to feel the Kindle in their hand when reading. They want it to go "naked". So a sleeve would be a perfect way to protect your Kindle when you're not using it and then can remove it to read it.

Most are made from nylon or neoprene. The soft material on the inside prevents it from scratches and minor bumps.
