King of Fighters Cosplay (Female Character)

Who is the most popular, hottest female fighters in the world? Don't be surprised if most of the people give "Mai Shiranui" as their answer. Still the fact as the most popular female fighter is debatable, but the truth that she is very popular is undeniable. As a character, Mai perfectly shows traditional style of Japanese fighter. She is a ninja, and love to keep her Japanese style all along the fights. For example is her traditional ninja outfit, her fan (that is often used as weapon), or her ornamental hairpin that is inherited from her grand mother.



Creating Mai Shiranui cosplay is somehow difficult. You should consider the value of Mai's hotness without neglecting traditional details in her costume. If you could create good costume play of Mai Shiranui, it is almost guaranteed that you will attract a lot of attention during the costume play festival. So, do your best and good luck!

Blue Mary is known as Mary Ryan in the real world. Apart from KOF series, she is also featured in Fatal Fury game. Her fighting style, toughness, and personality make me fall in love with her. Besides that, she has very mysterious background. She gained her fighting skill under the guidance of her father. In terms of fighting ability, Blue Mary probably is the strongest female character from KOF as well as Fatal Fury.



Blue Mary's character is designed based on Dragon Ball character, Android 18 created by Akira Toriyama. She wears red sleeveless top with blue jeans, usually along with leather jacket and gloves. Not so stylish, and ever considered as too manly costume. However, the costume reflects the personality and fighting styles of Blue Mary perfectly.

Okay, if you still think that Mai Shiranui is the only popular female character from King of Fighter, then you probably should start to consider Angel. As her name, Angel is as beauty as angel in heaven. Apart from her great fighting skill, Angel also a good motorcyclist as well as great goalkeeper in soccer. Interesting that you could get a lot of qualities in a fighter girl. Personally, she is my favorite character from King of Fighter series. Very great!



We could see from some examples of Angel cosplay photos above and conclude that she is also very attractive. Dominated with dark blue color, her outfit is perfect for fighting as well as fashion purpose. Another thing that I really like from Angel is her hair. The color and hairstyle is the best, perfect example of modern female fighter. One more important note, she combines Muay Thai and wrestling fighting style that made her more and more cool.

Bonne Jenet or Jennie Behrn probably is one of the trademark character from SNK. Her character is very attractive, eye catching and enchanting. As a fighter, we might think that Bonne Jenet is very weak and not as tough as female characters who look stronger, for example Blue Mary. Indeed, it is true that Bonne doesn't have strong physical power, but she has a kind of psychic ability to control the air, reminds us to Aang from "Avatar the Legend of Aang" series published by Nickelodeon.



She has very unique fighting style, almost similar to Kickboxing called as LK Arts or Savate. She is also described as very wealthy character with strong obsession to money. As a materialist, Bonne Jenet is very fond of party, night live, and luxurious dinner. Her motivation to win KOF tournament is also because of the prize money.

Shermie is a very agile fighter, with gymnastic style and rely on grappling move. Some of the examples of Shermie cosplay photos below doesn't reflect her greatness in fighting at all, but more focus on her hotness as female character. Apart from her weirdness, Shermie is one of the most interesting and strongest female character created by SNK.

Very weird character. Not only because of her hairstyle, her fondness on hamster, or her habit to have morning special breakfast at Gyudon Restarurant; but also because of her mysterious background and easy-going style within the fight.
