It has a 440 thread count, which gives it a nice silky feel. Thread count is a measure of how tight the weave is of the fabric - it counts how many threads you have in a square inch of fabric. Generally, the higher the number, the softer and more supple the fabric. Another plus is that with a higher thread count, you have less "leaking" down. It's pretty near impossible to prevent down and feathers from finding their way through the fabric, but a higher thread count does help keep it to a minimum.
