KISS Hotter Than Hell T-shirtThe second album released by KISS, Hotter than Hell wasn't a smash hit when it first arrived on the record store shelves (this sounds dated in the age of downloading, but remember this band has been together since the early 70's!). Years later, when the band gained popularity, the album went Gold. To this day, songs from Hotter than Hell remain live act staples, like Goin' Blind and Let Me Go Rock N' Roll. This shirt features a graphic image of the band, with the words "it was so hot" on the backside.

- In 1999, KISS received a Grammy nomination for best hard rock performance with "Psycho Circus."

This was the album where KISS decided to ditch the makeup and fit more into the current L.A. metal scene that existed at the time. Lick It Up was the hit single off that album from 1983. The front of the shirt features Gene Simmons with the trademark dangling tongue. On the reverse, the shirts reads "Lick it Up" in the band's signature font.

Kiss Unmasked T-Shirt
When Kiss Went Unmasked (1983)
After their long run of successful albums in the 70's, the band decided it was time to hang up the makeup kits for a little while and just play straight forward rock n' roll. The unveiling of their faces was made into a big event on MTV in 1983. Hosted by JJ Jackson, the event was a video-stopping affair that was one of the milestones in their career. The band wouldn't put the face paint back on until the mid 90's, when the group reunited with original members Peter Criss and Ace Frehley in 1995. Alice in Chains opened for the band on this tour in support of their self titled album (the green album with the three-legged dog on the front). AIC unfortunately did not last much longer as a group with Layne Staley after this tour. However, for Kiss, the reunion of '95 and the tour marked the beginning of a resurgence and renewed interest in the band. They haven't looked back since, and have plowed full steam ahead, even through original members Criss and Frehley have since been replaced.
