I've seen the world that way as long as I can remember. It was never passed to me...it just sort of arrived as I grew up. A lot of my practice is linked to nature outside, but housework also feels a powerful device. I loved this lens, so thank you.

so much lovely writing! Im going to send your link to my family because its one of the nicest descriptions of kitch witchery I have read, and it will give them an understanding without freaking out! Also an inspiration to me to help me keep writing. I am a newbie, I write for my job but have now started to write for pleasure but Im finding so many wonderful lenses that I get distracted and write very little myself! dont feel obliged but if you have a mo please take a look at my beginner pieces! Intriguing lens, beautifully written and visually appealing. I have learned lots of new things on a first read -- am bookmarking so I can come back easily. This really is a fascinating topic. Thank you.

Granny FairyAngel fluttering by to drop some fairyangel dust. I really love cauldrons. I have a whole collection but will have to part with them when we start Rv-ing. That song by Ambient Pagan is really interesting. I'm going to have to look at it further.

Love your lens. This has been a strong interest of mine lately.

Beautiful lens! Very informative and interesting...I've always thought kitchen witchery would work for me because I have pagan roots and love to work in the kitchen...after reading this lens, I'm going to do some further reading. Thanks for this great lens!

Can you be a kitchen witch, yet totally hate having to come up with the evening meal day after day after day? We eat from our garden and I preserve and share our extras and I feel all good and tranquil about that, but... there remains the drudgery of just ... cooking... Lovely lens though :)

I am really a kitchen witch at heart but I don't let myself work with it as much as I feel the call to in my soul. I'm very connected to the hearth goddesses. I really like how this lens feels welcoming and magical. Lensrolling it to my Brigid, Freya, and Frigga lenses.

I've always yearned to be a kitchen witch but I hate cooking and detest housework so I gave up :-( Now I'm an Angel and have sprinkled some spicy Angel dust on your cupcakes :-)

What a beautiful lens! Someone gave me a kitchen witch as a housewarming gift many years ago. She was supposed to keep me from burning food while cooking. I'm not sure where she is now... will have to look through my storage bins. Squid Angel Blessings to you.

Great lens. Now I am going to be mad if I can't find my Kitchen Witch. I haven't thought about her in years.

This is a great lens. I was not aware as to the full extent of kitchen witchery. It seems to be a very beautiful practice and the artwork is absolutely beautiful, they really helped to draw me in. 5*'s and faved.
  • drifter0658 Mar 4, 2009 @ 7:04 pm | delete
Very compelling. The artwork worked its magic on me. I know it was the colors and the imagery, but still I was pleasantly drawn in.

The Kitchen Rituals were awesome....I bake my own bread at times, and the act of baking it is so relaxing.

    Thanks For This!

Fantastic lens and great pictures. I see I am going to have to join Art.com.. Would you get an extra commission if you referred me? Thanks for stopping by Save A Tree Spirit. Wish I could say I was a Kitchen Witch but I didn't get those genes. Although I like to play with herbs, usually for potions. 5 stars and marking you as a favorite.

Hi, i think this page is amazing and very inspiring. I agree with the idea of sacredness in the mundane tasks and we should celebrate them for sure. The page is beautiful and appealing and i am having fun in discovering it. Thank you for introducing this theme to me. :)
