• Not only can you charge things with solar but the lithium battery will store and hold a charge for six months.


• I like trying solar products, but they are usually a dissapointment. The kiwi has been by far the best solar power product I've purchased. We've tried with my ebook and iPhone and with my daughter's samsung and it works great. The built in flashlight is handy, but not strong enough. Also the device comes with a built in USB port, so I've used the iphone cord directly and did not use the connectors that comes with the kiwi.


• I bought this awhile back to take camping. It had better stats than other similar products that I found on the online. It can take several days to fully charge by solar, but I can get about a half charge on my smartphone after one day of sun. One of the best features about this charger is its battery retention(six months). I have found myself using this when I could not sit by an outlet(going out to bars.) So I usually keep it charged. I am so impressed with the kiwi charger that I just bought a second one. I left the first on the outside of my car, and it blew off on the interstate. I wouldn't recommend driving with it on the outside of the car but it did stick on there for about 30 min on the country roads.


• Yes, solar charging this device is very slow, but worth it. Don't be tied down with wires. Get yourself a kiwi.


• Doesn't produce enough juice daily to keep up with iPhone but all it produces is free. Glad I got it.
