This poncho fits a woman or young lady size 10-12. The poncho knits up a bit quicker than it would using worsted weight yarn, because it uses Jiffy Quick and easy yarn by Lion Brand.

The instructions for this poncho require two flat panels to be made on the long blue loom and sewn together. These panels could also be made using 41 pegs on the yellow round loom, so that only one loom has to be used.

Simple Elegance Shawl Pattern

This shawl is knitted skipping every other peg. This gives the lacy open space between the stitches. The crochet spoken of in the instructions refers to the crochet cast-off, or removal of the shawl from the loom when it's finished. The pattern uses the e wrap cast-on and the ends are covered with fringe from the remaining yarn.

This is obviously one of Celeste's favorite shawl patterns, as she named this one after herself. It features Italian Fashion Accent yarn. The open knit appearance is created by skipping every other peg as you knit.

The fun fur and fringe makes this shawl a faster pattern than you might think. It can be knitted in a day by an experienced loom knitter. Although the shawl in the photo uses fun fur and red yarn, the pattern doesn't specify any yarn color, or weight, so you can mix and match as you wish.
