- you guys no something, ive work for knight on and off for a few years.they arnt bad people to work for ive work for worse people like lessors transportation out of eagan.they just cant keep everyone happy all the time sometimes you got to do things you dont want to do.lets face it a lot of drivers a cry babys. and as far as steeling for drivers i dont think your right ive alwas got payed.its just sometimes they dont understand that we need a brake from them so get us home.

My husband very rarely got layover pay. He had to ask for extra drop/stop pay because it would never show up on his pay check. If he got over 2000 miles/week, he was happy. He never turned down loads, because we financially could not afford for him to turn anything down. They get you out east, and you sit for 2-3 days, no loads they say. And if you quit, they put lies in your DAC report, not to mention the day he quit, his dispatcher cussed him out.

- PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT KNIGHT TRANS?WELL LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT COVENANT TRANSPORT,THESE PEOPLE ARE SOMETHING,ESPECIALLY MR.JIMMIE SHIELDS.YOU GO TO WORK AT THIS PLACE AND THE DAY YOU DECIDE TO LEAVE THEM TO BETTER YOUR SELF THEY WILL TELL YOU WHERE TO LEAVE THE TRUCK AND AFTER A TEAM PICKS IT UP GUESS WHAT IT GOES ON YOUR DAC REPORT,AND KEEP IT THERE JUST TO SCREW YOUR LIFE UP SO YOU LIVE IN HELL FOR AS LONG AS YOU LIVE.WHAT WORST THAN THAT FOR YOUR CAREER, I LIVE WITH IT EVERY DAY, COVENANT PLEASE USE A STRAW.U SUCK.........

- Ive been there 2 weeks and they still owe me for the first weeks run, they reversed the numbers on my voided check for direct deposit and have not paid me yet. They claim its my banks fault and my bank states the deposit never got to them.How could it if the numbers where wrong to begin with and no one at knight has said sorry for the mistake, just, company policy, I dont know if I ever will get paid for this load. Do I take them to court or what.?

- Overall knight is a good company. Like most companies they really suck when it comes to maintence. You end up wasting at least one full day at a shop for a simple oil change. The miles at this company have been averaging around 2500 on the weast coast. By the way you are a regional driver no matter what the say. Always cover you butt when it comes to pretrips, document document document. Follow the rules and cover your butt and you make money. But if you want a company that gives better health care and really cares more for the driver, go work for schneider. I liked schneider a lot more after I lefted them, but the pay is better and more consistent at knight. You make the choice.
