- I love Jan Eaton and Darla Sims' work. Jan Eaton has produced books 200 Knit Blocks and 200 Crochet Blocks that I use for the charity I run, Kidney Afghans for Kids (www.squidoo.com/kidney-afghans-for-kids). Darla Sims' books 63 Squares and 63 More Squares are patterns I returned to over and over again for crocheting. I also like 99 Knit Stitches from Leisure Arts for coming up with interesting square patterns.
