I must say I've attended more than a few knitting workshop in my life. Some have been better than others.

I can tell you there seems to be a wide variety in the way a knitting workshop is organized and what happens in them.

While one knitting workshop may focus more on teaching different knitting styles, another knitting workshop will teach more practical things... like how you can actually start a business of knitting. This is why it's so important to look at the itinerary for each knitting workshop that you consider attending.

Some knitting workshops give you ideas on how to sell your knitting pieces in local markets, on the internet, and through your networking or volunteer organizations. These can be great sources of information and contacts.

However, not everyone is able to attend a knitting workshop. This may be because of money or time constraints or simply because no knitting workshop is hosted near their home.
