Paradise in Thailand

Koh Wai Island is one of Thailand treasures with beautiful natural beauty of the ocean and lush tropical surroundings. Koh Wai is a place you can go to escape all the hustle and bustle of a big city like Bangkok and take time to relax and reflect on life. Koh Wai recently has experienced an increase in popularity and although the owners could expand the room capacity have decided it would be better for the visitor experience to limit the amount of people staying on the Island. I am a big fan of this and would like to see more resorts choose visitor experience over the prospect of more money which in the long run is a better choice.

It looks like that beach, but the actual movie was filmed in Phi Phi island, Phuket, Krabi and Khao Yai National park. Phi Phi has since become overun by tourist who have seen this flick. Koh Wai is in the Koh Change group of Islands and reminds me more of what that Movie tried to portray as paradise.
