If a Komodo Dragon got in a fight with a Crocodile - Which would Win?
Komodo Dragons Versus Crocodiles
Let's see, we might not be able to see a Jurassic Park style fight between an Alosaurus and a T-Rex... but we might be able to see (or at least imagine) a battle between a crocodile and a komodo dragon! (Or, a komodo dragon and a crocodile!)
Here's What I Think:
Crocs will win if they are in the water. Komodo Dragons will win if they are on land. And since crocs come on land to lay eggs... the Komodo Dragons ultimately win. (If they eat the croc eggs, they've won before any fight really got started, eh?)

Yeah, editor is right. But komodo dragons have a poisonous bite, so if it could get to the crocodile's weak spots, it would win, on the other hand crocodiles have a crushing bite force. I would like to see the komodo win though. Me like dragons!

One bite from the croc, and the dragon is toast. I think the dragon would have to find a soft spot on the croc to have a chance. A hippo would bite them both in half.

Saw a documentary recently where they measured the strength of a Komodo Dragon and it turned out not to be quite as strong as they thought. So my bet definitely is on the croc.

- Just to add my bit, I watched a documentary on crocodiles and crocodiles have an exceptional blood system. When infected with most any disease, a crocodile's immune system is so strong the white blood cells will literally 'eat' up the infection, bacteria, illness, whatever it may be considering the fact they live in large groups and often get bitten by their own kind! Also their stomachs are very strong as well, they can take in poisons ( that are natural) and bacteria of many sorts, it happens all the time in the way they cash their food which becomes bacteria infested. So to my understanding, the Komodo would only get away if it ran off from the crocodile, and have to run faster than 15miles/hr (to my understanding Komodo's are faster). Otherwise, croc's win.
