What is Your Dog's Favourite from the Range of Kong Dog Toys?

If you have a dog that likes to chew dog toys, you need to be familiar with the products the Kong Company creates in their range of tough toys for pets.

Important note: the extreme Kong is NOT the same as the red Kong, which apparently is much flimsier. I got this for my neighbor's good-natured pit bull Major, after seeing him shred everything else.

Thin rubber squeaky toys last only a few hours, nylabones perhaps a day or two, and even the thick rubber chill pill got shredded. But the Kong Extreme has (to my surprise) remained intact.

I had begun to think that only a chunk of cinderblock would survive...maybe. Extreme Kong takes funny bounces (which apparently is part of the idea.

Toys with rope handles made for better slobber-avoiding toss-and-fetching, but handles got chewed off very quickly.

You can throw this by poking your finger in the holes and tossing--it's marginally better in terms of slobber than many other toys.

Kong comes in different sizes--the largest may outweigh your toy Chihuahua, so be judicious.

If a neighbor has a pit bull, getting on his good side is important, even if he is as good-natured as Major!

The WUBBA Dog Toy:

The WUBBA is a dog toy that is used for tossing and tugging.

It is made up of a squeaker ball and a tennis ball.

There is a long tail which helps to handle and throw easily.

The squeaking and the flapping tails make it a favorite among dogs.

It comes in pink and light blue and is one size.

I bought one of these for my St. Bernard, and failed to heed the "Supervised Play Only" warning on the label, 2 hrs later the toy was in tatters.

These toys obviously aren't meant to be durable enough for long term chewing, but even the shreds of this toy are by far my dog's favorite toys.

Buy this toy and play _with_ your dog, but take it away when play time is over

These are all-natural and healthy treats for your dog when he has earned a reward.

They are designed to be stuffed inside Kong toys, but are also great to use as treats for training.

This is probably one of my dog's favorite treats.

It takes her about an hour to get it out.

You should stick the whole thing inside the kong.

That way it will last longer.

It is a bit expensive, so I don't buy it all the time.

Tennis Ball Dog Toys from Kong:

This is a great toy for chasing.

Air toys are made of a tennis ball covered with a felt material that is a breeze to clean and it won't scrape the teeth of the dog.

There are Air Kong sticks with ropes that come in three different sizes, and Squeakers.

I bought four toys for my dogs with the 4-for-3 promotion. Two of the small squiggles and two other kong toys.

By far, these toys were my pups favorites, right out of the package! The small is the perfect size for my 12lb Schnauzer/Poodle and 11 lb Jack Russell mix.

They love the squeakers (which, I personally could live without) and the elastic in the body.

They play tug a war with each side being able to squeak on a squeaker and it gives them a nice pull, without the violent snap back. I think the toys are adorable with the bright colors and contrasting details.

For small dogs, they are pretty destructive toy chewers (READ: their mission is to shred and destroy all toys, especially those with squeakers) and both of these toys are going strong after a couple of weeks.

I am back now to buy them for my sisters pups! Highly recommended.

The zinger is a chase toy that rolls. It is fast-acting and very interactive.

My dogs love the Kongs and King Kongs. I have big dogs and the Kongs are one of the few dog toys that actually last.

Our dogs love the original KONG. Being 60 pounds with strong jaws it's the only toy that doesn't immediately get destroyed by them.

My cats have claimed the dogs lolly balls, as I call the Kong dog toy treat dispensers! It is now a war between cats and dogs for who gets the cat kibble - the noise at night is deafening as the ball gets pushed around the floors - lol!

My dogs like to have dried cat food kibble in theirs! They smell the fishy flavours and think they are stealing the cats food treats - and as we all know stolen fruit is the sweetest - lol!
