Kota My Triceratops Dinosaur is modelled on a dinosaur that lived almost 65 million years ago. The Triceratops was the largest of the plant eating horn faced dinosaurs. An adult Triceratops weighed about 6 tonnes - similar to a large elephant.Thankfully Kota my Triceratops Dinosaur is modelled on a baby dinosaur rather than his father! But he has the features you would expect from a Triceratops - his small nose horn and the two horns over each eye. He also have the distingushing large neck frill. Despite being one of the most studied of the dinosaurs due to numerous fossil finds, nobody is quite sure what the purpose of the neck frill was. It could have been for protection when fighting his enemies or it could also have been brightly colored to attract the female dinosaurs!
Kota is a gentle three foot baby dinosaur who will interact with your child by reacting to their touch. He can move his body, his eyes and even his horns. He will sing four different dinosaur songs to teach your kids more about dinosaurs, although you as the parent will appreciate the volume control plus the fact that he automatically switches himself off!
Kids from 36 months to 5 years of age (60lbs) will love Kota. His burps caused my kids to giggle again and again. Your kids can interact with Kota who will smell their hands, and laugh when they tickle him. He will munch his food (provided) when he is fed. His sensors alert him when a child climbs abroad so that he can entertain them.
Be prepared for hours of fun. The only drawback I can see with Kota is the fact that given his size your kids wont be able to lug him around the relations unless you have a fairly big trunk in your car.
