KRE-O Transformers

Kre-O is a new range of toys from Hasbro, with the idea based around the popularity of Lego. Building blocks of any kind are more popular than ever. Everywhere you look in toy shops you can see themed versions of Lego, such as Lego StarWars and Lego Harry Potter.

Hasbro has made a popular choice in its first range of KRE-O toys, bringing the wonderful and collectable transformers series to life. There are KRE-O Transformers sets available for all the popular transformers characters including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron and Starscream.

Each set brings hours of fun to children by letting them build their favourite characters in both the robot and vehicle forms. And to top it all, KRE-O blocks are compatible with Lego, which makes it all the more fun.

KRE-O Transformers Optimus Prime

Based on perhaps the most popular Transformers character, this KRE-O set contains no less than 542 blocks with which you can build Optimus Prime in either robot or vehicle mode. Like the action toy, when in vehicle mode you can detach his truck cab from the trailer.

Also included in this great value set are two motorcycles, two traffic cones, and five KREON mini figures (OPTIMUS PRIME, SKYWARP, BLUESTREAK, and two Stunt Drivers).

I bought one for my boy's Birthday and he loves it. One thing I would say is that you certainly get your money's worth! It took us around 2 hours to build the truck for example, but its a lot of fun seeing it take shape. The mini figures are a lot of fun as well.

KRE-O Transformers Bumblebee

Bumblebee is a favourite amongst transformers fans and this 300+ piece KRE-O set certainly does the yellow one justice. Like other KRE-O Transformer toys you can build BUMBLEBEE in robot mode, then rebuild in car mode. We think the car mode in particular looks great sitting on a shelf. It's a little more accessible that the Optimus Prime model as there are less parts and therefore a shorter build time. Its great value considering the fun you can have constructing it and customising it. Kids love to use their imagination, and with this the possibilities are endless. I often see our KRE-O Bumblebee combined with bits of Lego!
