    Nice lens. Some real digging to get all those interview vids and stuff. The guys got a special singing voice and if you look beyond the hype also seems to be a genuinely nice guy.

    So good to see a familiar little face getting LOTD for this wonderful lens! My whole neighborhood must have heard me shout/scream with shock and joy when Kris won, though Adam really is wonderfully talented as well..this was a tough season with so many that were great to listen to.

    I thought I was in the minority when I was rooting for Kris. My hubby and kids wanted Adam. I am happy that I get to say "Told you so!" LOL! Wonderful lens!

    I really wanted Kris to win. I just wasn't a fan of Adam's theatrics and would just fast-forward through his songs...he just wasn't my style at all. Congrats to Kris!

    I didn't vote but I was hoping Kris would win. I think he's more talented because of his ability to play several different instruments and his version of Kayne Wests song was amazing.

    Congrats on lens of the day! Adam Lambert was my favorite - but Kris was good as well. I hope all of them come out with great record deals :) Great lens!

    Hey Susan -- congratulations on your marvelous lens of the day for Kris Allen -- that is very cool and so topicable! Ya probably know that I was voting for Adam Lambert as he touched a chord with me. But, Kris Allen is more of a fan favorite. Cool lens.

    I pegged Adam to win, way back at the beginning, but when Danny Gokey was eliminated, I figured his fans would vote for Kris. I see Kris as becoming a legendary recording artist, while I see Adam as becoming an icon in Vegas.

    i was rooting for adam lambert to win but i'm happy that kris allen won too. Kris now has a 1 year contract with idol and has to tour before making his own records,
    Adam can go record right away after being with Idol for 2 months. It will be interesting to see if Kris and Danny do a duet together, both being worship leaders. Will they do praise and worship? Ballands and love songs? Who knows :)

    Kris was true to himself all the way. I think the same for Adam. Two completely different and awesome talents. Danny did not impress me but Alison did.

    Adam is the one who got me watching AI every week just to see what he would do. But over time, I actually grew a little tired of him. Not that he's not awesome, but I think my expectations were just higher for him. Eventually Kris started to grow on me and I ended up rooting for him as he was the underdog.

    Season 8 provided us with a tremendous amount of talent-- truly, once we were down to the final 4 I would have been thrilled with any of these performers making it to Number 1! In the final anaylsis, I voted for Kris because I love singers who also play musical instruments. He's multi-talented! While Adam is a phenomenal performer and a theatrical superstar & I KNOW he will go far, too, Kris' authenticity and down-to-earth manner really resonated with this voter.

    Kris wasn't really my favorite Idol. I felt that Allison was the most talented of the top 5, but clearly Kris was the most popular.

    Congrats on LOTD. I personally think that Kris is forgettable. He has a good voice but he is not very interesting. Adam Lambert is much, much more talented and interesting. I think that we will see much more from him going forward. Similar to what Chris Daughtry did in his year.

    Congrats on lens of the day. Well deserved. I was rooting for Kris but wouldn't have been surprised if Adam had won. I think David Cook's comment when asked who he thought would win said, after complimenting both guys, "I don't think America can get this wrong." Meaning, no matter who won, it was the right choice.     Both have great talent and I agree that Adam will certainly make it on his own...Kris is deserving of it...I liked both, and both where nice, each had their own style...plus they seemed to like each other as friends...congrats on LOTD...5*

    I like Kris, but I really think Adam has the greater talent and star quality. They'll both go far and it's interesting they've become friends during the competition.

    Terrific lens Susan! You have covered much of Kris' life. I have grown so fond of him and his parents....terrific folks. I think Kris needs the Idol title more than Adam who will be just fine with his career without it. Please keep updating your lens so we will continue to know what's going on with Kris and his family!
