KRIS KROSS - ATLANTA RAP DUO
Kris Kross is a rap duo formed in 1991 by "Mac Daddy" Chris Kelly (born in 1978), and "Daddy Mac" Chris Smith (class 1979). They are both from Atlanta, and were discovered by the rap guru Jermaine Dupri.
They got famous in 1992 thanks to the hit song "Jump", the first single off their debut album "Totally crossed out". Thanks to this success, they went on tour with Michael Jackson... that is when I had the chance to see them live, at the "Dangerous Tour"!
It's a shame if you did not get to see Kris Kross live, but do not despair! There are rumours of a reunion!
In the meantime you can enjoy their past work by listening to their records and watching videos.
My personal favourite album is "Totally crossed out", and the best song is "I missed the bus", followed by "Warm it up" and "Jump".

Why Kris Kross?
They wore their clothes (especially baggy trousers) backwards, this became their trademark fashion.
