Definitely intriging. I'm not sure I'd make or buy one, but maybe just a taste. . I do love salty and sweet, but I'm thing of chocolate covered pretzels when I say that. :D 5 stars for starting up the controversy, and with such an unusual recipe. Lensrolled to Cheeseburger Swiss vs American. Thanks so much.

It's definitely up there in one of the worlds most unhealthiest snacks. There's a ballpark near us that sells this. I haven't tried it, but my sister did and she really like it. Maybe one day I'll get brave enough to try one.

I gained weight just looking at the images of this burger!

I included the recipe in a poll on my lens "Who Has The Best Burger Recipe on Squidoo?"

So have you "met" someone who has eaten it yet? I wish I worked at Google. They had the burgers in the cafeteria because one of their big head honchos was leaving the company. I guess he requested them?

I have to say the Google cafeteria pic is one of the scariest I've ever seen! lol I saw Paula Dean talking about this not that long ago and my heart almost stopped. Plus I'm not a fan of mixing dessert and meat on my plate so...ewwww... Great lens. 5*

I have to admit, I love Krispy Kreme donuts! I'd try it, maybe just a bite to say I did it. Great work!

Thanks for dropping by my blog. This lens is great! I love the Paula Dean video. She is such a crack up! I think if I ever get a chance to taste a krispy kreme burger, I would, but I have a feeling I'd only be able to handle a bite. That is just too scary! :)

That looks and sounds yummy! Never heard of using a donut as a hamburger bun. I wish I knew how to cook. Otherwise I would experiment and make my own.

It just does not sound that tasty to me but I am open for new things, so of course I would try it. Not grasshoppers though.. nope, not even between a Krispy Kreme Bun.

Holy possible new addiction!!! This lens has some of my favorite words in it. Like, Bacon, Cheeseburger, Cheese, and KRISPY KREME!!!

W-H-A-T??? A Krispy Kreme Burger? My dear, I've never heard of such a thing but it sounds absolutely yummlicious -- might be hard on my high cholesterol. I'm not a vegetarian so I CAN try this, but if I do, hubby must have the other half. ;)

Wow. This is a concept that only a cardiologist trying to build a practice could love! Thanks for sharing this culinary "wonder"...it has left me wondering, what will people think of next. :-)

Revolting isn't even a strong enough sentiment for this. Gee...does anyone wonder why our country has such huge problems with obesity, heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Krispy Kreme should be ashamed of themselves. God Bless America, anything for a profit.

I'm not a donut fan, either, and even the thought of that burger makes my tummy hurt! I bet my boyfriend would love it, though. Great lens! :D
  • WhippetTalk Sep 18, 2008 @ 11:41 am | delete
Well that ranks right up there with deep fried Twinkies. LOL I personally would not eat one, but I wouldn't tell anyone not to if they wanted too. We don't have Krispy Kreme in Arizona anymore. The company closed all the stores here.

Oh darn... I'm a vegetarian and must pass on this delectable treat! Your lens is fun, though. Welcome to Culinary Favorites From A to Z.

It was a huuuuge hit at Google. My friend who works there had one!
