AM 870 The Answer
KRLA is a southern California-based radio station owned by Salem Communications Corporation, the largest operator of Conservative Talk, Christian, and Inspirational radio stations in the nation.
The SALEM LA family of radio stations includes KKLA-FM (Inspirational Talk), KFSH-FM (Contemporary Christian Music), KTIE-AM (Conservative Talk) and KRLA-AM (Conservative Talk).
Since going on the air as KIEV in February 1933, the station has enjoyed success with various program formats, including big bands, standards, and top 40. In January 2001 the station adopted the KRLA call sign to promote a conservative talk radio format. An impressive weekday lineup includes conservative talk show hosts Heidi Harris, Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, Hugh Hewitt, Mike Gallagher, Dennis Miller, and Bill Bennett.
On April 23, 2012, Salem Communications introduced "The Answer" brand to stations KRLA and KTIE—joining New York City news talk station WNYM-AM 970, which similarly revamped its image in March. KRLA management had long sought to launch their own local morning show in the Los Angeles market. To that end, syndicated talk radio host Glenn Beck was replaced with morning host Heidi Harris in the 6am to 9am time slot. "Heidi Harris in the Morning" will air on both KRLA and KTIE.

- I too was disappointed that KRLA870 dropped Beck. I tried listening to Harris and found her to be very uninformed and her show quite boring and am no longer listening in the morning. Kevin James was another that I used to like and he was dropped as well. As for the whole "Answer" thing. It's lame.

- Sorry. For all the Glenn Beck fans out there, to lose a favorite talk show host really sucks. This is my personal opinion, although Glenn is gone. Try hearing what Heidi Harris has to say, She is really down to earth full of guts and don't take no prisoner kinda gal! I think u will enjoy the change, I am glad she is on this station, I missed my morning fix when she stopped broadcasting out of Las Vegas. Have a good day! Bowen

- "DITTOS" Chris? I think is was a BIG mistake to get rid of Glenn Beck in the morning, he was the reason I listened to KRLA too. I am streaming on the computer. Apps are available for smart phones to hear Glenn. Annoying I know, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

- I have now tuned out KRLA for good. So much for revamping your station. Your "Answer" was to replace a valuable informative and much loved talk show host, Glenn Beck, with empty content. Big mistake. Bring Beck back or be content to lose your audience
