Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic

Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic, is a famous World Heritage Site. This historical UNESCO town is 750 years old and retains much of the original buildings. This Lens has links and information if you plan to visit. It easy to stay in the town or visit from Germany which is about 1 hour by car. Photographs will be added later.

I visited the wonderful old town of Cesky Krumlov in September 2007. As a result of the visit I decided to create this Lens so that everybody could see what a wonderful place this is to visit. Old ?eský Krumlov is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was given this status along with the historic Prague castle district.

The city is named ?eský Krumlov ("Bohemian Krumlov") to differentiate it from Moravský Krumlov ("Moravian Krumlov") in the southeast of the country.
