Zhu Zhu Pets have been a hot toy since before they even hit the market. Kids love playing with these little, fluffy hamsters, and parents love giving their child a pet that doesn't make a mess!
When they first came out, there were just four Zhu Zhu hamsters - and apparently someone didn't think they appealed enough to boys because this year Zhu Zhu has some out with a new series of pets - Kung Zhu Battle Hamsters!
Kung Zhu is the militant arm of Zhu Zhu hamsters. There are quite a few fun toys - all geared to appeal to boys - including Special Forces, Ninja Warriors, Rangers, and the Skull Tribe Battle Hamsters, along with armor/battle gear, vehicles, and training arenas. The hamsters start off as regular Zhu Zhu pets, and develop their warrior personalities during training (thanks to the Tablet of Zhu - that's a smart chip to us humans - that comes with Kung Zhu armor). Each training module or set of armor allows the hamster to develop a new part of their personality. Create a super warrior hamster by going through all the training!

Kung Zhu Ninjas
There are currently 8 Kung Zhu hamsters - 4 Ninjas and 4 Special Forces. Each group has their own armor, tanks, and training grounds. The two groups fight against each other in the battle arena.
The Ninjas consist of Drayko, Yama, Azer, and Thorn. Each hamster has it's own special mark and personality that develops through the course of their training. But they all had to start somewhere...
Drayko: a JONIN in his clan, Drayko is a master at stealth and seeks to become a SHOGUN. Armor - Shadow Jonin; Vehicle - Spider Skull.
Yama: only a student in the dragon clan, Yama is the best friend of Drayko, and the strongest hamster in the Dragon Clan. Armor - Fire Chunin; Vehicle - Samurai Scorpion.
Azer: the older brother of Drayko, originally member of the Dragon Clan but left to create the Skull Clan. Armor - Dark Jonin; Vehicle - Spider Skull.
Thorn: no one knows where he came from, only that he's rough, tough and not afraid to cheat. Armor - Blizzard Genin; Vehicle - Samurai Scorpion.

Kung Zhu Special Forces
Just as in the Ninja group, there are 4 hamsters in the Kung Zhu Special Forces - Stonewall, Rock-O, Sergeant Serge, and Rivet. The Special Forces train at their own headquarters and mission control. Special Forces have two training modules to help them develop their warrior skills - Alpha and Bravo. Train theme well and take out the Ninja hamsters!
Stonewall: Loud,and crazy....and always up for a fight. Armor - Night Raid; Vehicle - Buzzsaw.
Rock-O: the smartest hamster in the bunch - in charge of communications & tech. Armor - Dune Tracker; Vehicle - Rhino Tank.
Sgt. Serge: likes to have a good day - and a good day is a day with a fight. Armor - Ambush; Vehicle - Buzzsaw.
Rivet: leader of the Special Forces and a demolition expert. Armor - Thunderstrike; Vehicle - Rhino Tank.

Kung Zhu Playsets
In order to pit Ninja against Special Forces, you have to have a place for them to fight. Enter the headquarters, training area, and battle arena.
Each group of hamsters has their own headquarters and training areas. The Ninjas have the Ninja and Samurai training grounds that connect to the Ninja Dojo and Ninja Snake Pit. You can also connect the Dragon Alley U-Turn and Wheel of Fire to the Ninja training area. The Special Forces have Alpha and Bravo training area that connect to Special Forces HQ and Mission Control. Extra training areas include Ambush Alley U-Turn and the Combat Bridge. There are also a Missile Attack Tower (Special Forces) and Dragon Hammer (Ninja) to complete the training grounds.
The Battle Arena is where all the fighting takes place. Once your hamsters are trained, they can enter the battle arena to duke it out with their enemies. The Battle Arena serves as a connection between the two training areas. Let the hamsters run the training course and when they are done, slip on their armor before the enter the Battle Arena.
